Gary & Peter Alliss open the new academy |
Gary Alliss recently celebrated the opening of his new golf academy based at Hustyns Hotel near Wadebridge, Cornwall. The academy boasts the very latest technology to allow its customers to learn, practice and play golf while enjoying the incredible facilities on offer at Hustyns.
The academy uses a Full Swing Golf simulator along with coaching and analysis software from Gasp Systems or Exeter, Cornwall. Gary uses the simulator for all aspects of golf, from teaching clients while allowing them instant feedback of their shot and ball flight, to practice on the range of full analysis driving ranges, through to simple social golf between local players and hotel residents alike.
The opening was an extremely busy event, with a whole host of local players, past and previous clients, friends, family and media in attendance. Gary and his father Peter, who worked with Gary on the design and layout of the facilities, formally opened the academy. Gary welcomes golfers of all standards to the academy to work on their game or simply to enjoy the facilities on offer. In conjunction with Hustyns Hotel, guests can choose from a range of weekend packages to take advantage of both the hotel facilities as well as the academy itself.
